ZAR ATELIER ("we", "us") is a single atelier operating an online store and a made-to-measure service, with locations in Swabi, Pakistan and Manchester, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

This policy applies to our website and to any order, quote, or customization request you submit through it. It does not apply to third-party sites we link to.

Account information: when you create an account, sign in with Google, or sign in with email, we receive your name, email address, and, where the identity provider supplies it, your profile image. We never receive your Google or email password.

Order and delivery information: the items you order or request, your phone number, shipping address, order history, and your correspondence with our team.

Customization details: measurements, styling notes, deadlines, and the reference images, video, or voice notes you upload with a request.

Usage information: pages viewed, products browsed, general device and browser information gathered through cookies and analytics, and the items kept in your cart and favourites.

To create and manage your account, fulfil and deliver orders, respond to quote and customization requests, and provide customer support.

To personalise the store, for example by keeping your cart, favourites, and preferred currency, and to show products related to your interests.

To send transactional messages such as order confirmations, production and tracking updates, and replies to your requests. Marketing messages are sent only where you have subscribed, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

To keep the store secure, prevent fraud and abuse, measure site performance, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

If you choose to continue with Google, we receive only your basic Google account profile: your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts, or any other Google service.

We use this information solely to create and authenticate your ZAR ATELIER account, to identify your orders and requests, and to contact you about them. It is never used for advertising and is never sold.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train machine learning or artificial intelligence models.

You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page, and you can ask us to delete the account information we hold.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the store, and only as far as needed: hosting and database providers, email delivery and notification services, payment processors, and shipping and courier partners.

Customization and quote requests are shared internally with the atelier staff who assess and produce your piece. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our legal rights, or as part of a business transfer.

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart, favourites, and currency choice, and understand how the store is used. These are essential to the shopping experience, and disabling them may stop parts of the store from working.

We use Google Analytics to measure visits and page performance. Google processes this data as our service provider under its own privacy terms, and we do not use it to identify you personally.

We keep order, invoice, and communication records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Customization media is retained while your request or project is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so that we can support reorders and alterations.

Account information is kept while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your data, we remove or anonymise it unless we are required to keep a record for legal reasons.

Access to customer records is restricted to authorised ZAR ATELIER staff and protected by account authentication. Files you upload with a customization request are held in private storage and can be reached through the store only, not by public link.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information and review them as our services evolve.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time, and you can close your account from your account page or by contacting us.

Our store and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or below the minimum age in your jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

We operate from Pakistan and the United Kingdom and use service providers that may store data in other countries. Where information is transferred internationally, we rely on the technical and contractual safeguards of those providers to keep it protected.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The revised version is published on this page with a new last updated date, and material changes are communicated to registered customers by email where appropriate.
